Recently I overhauled a MH with an autolite distributor. It ran good for a while but now I have a problem getting fire to plugs. There was a 12 volt conversion with purchased wiring harness. All directions were followed I used a resistor with a new coil to get the ohms between 2.7-3.3. I also put a new distributor, cap rotor button and plugs in it. I have since bought new copper core wires another new cap, a coil with the correct resistance without the resistor, and replaced the distributor with no luck. The coil wire fires but the spark plug wires won't. The points look okay. Could the condensor be the problem since it was designed for a six volt system? Need help I running out of stuff to replace.
