Okay, y'all were right, I took the third drain plug loose and reached up in there. It felt like I was feeling the "grit" that solidifies on the guard of a grinding machine, but sure enough when I poked it with a wire, liquid came through. Gross. Sometimes it really is the simple things. Thanks everyone. I guess that just leaves the mystery of:
the 3 point does not want to raise and lower on this tractor, but the hydraulic pump seems to be working (engine RPM's drop when I engage the levers for the remotes). Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance.
