John Deere has been around quite a long time like you say, but the man is quite correct. Anything John Deere makes can be bought from another company for much less than a Deere, and at least as good a quality. I can't figure out how they stay in business, must be good marketing. They sure do have some nice looking old tractors, but wouldn't want to run one all day unless In was deaf!
