I have a gas utility tractor with engine size C-135 and a serial number 4378 S I was told it is a 1959 340 Utility. The tractors covered in the manual I bought do not quite match mine. The main problem is finding my hydraulic system filter. For all 340's the book shows the filter on the right side of the tractor in front of the brakes. I have no cover there. Both hoses from the camshaft ran pump go directly to the reservoir under the seat. Also, which I think defines my tractor, my hydraulic levers are not mounted high next to the steering wheel like my book shows. Mine are to the right of the seat mounted on the reservoir. My rear hitch control is also a single lever, not the slide "tell-a-depth system" mentioned. I really would like to know where my hydraulic filter is. My tractor is either a different year 340 or another model. Can anyone help? I now have pictures of it. Thank-you Roger
