David, I use my NAA for just such a situation. I live on a river in Michigan and need to pull neighbors pontoon boats out in the winter, with out the use of a trailer. We just put 10' lenghts of 4" sch 40 pipe down as rollers and use the tractor to pull the boats up on dry land for winter storage. I've even pulled a pontoon boat out that had 2 of 3 chambers on 1 side, and 1 chamber on the other side, full of water, and the boat was almost sitting on the river bottom. One guy that came to help had a new Dodge Durango, and wanted to see if it could do any better. Nope, not a chance, even with his 4WD. He just sat & dug. What ever you do, get a wide front end for stability... Good luck.
