When I have to go to the courthouse on the far side of the county, I stop at a food coop grocery store. They aren’t exclusively organic, but they trend to that type of stuff to differentiate themselves from a generic grocery store.
Really like the southwest turkey sandwich their deli makes.
They have expanded a decade or so ago, from a small place to a bigger corner store. It seems to have worked well for them.
I agree that expanding, especially expanding into a newly built building can really expose some growing pains on a business that was doing well, and then reaches for the moon. Can be scary transition.
