Greg, Yes, it does have a live pto. Take Lee's advice and stay away from the select-o-speed. They can be converted to 5-speed manual but not cheaply. :

: If you want to save yourself a lot of problems and headache, do not get a Ford with a select --o speed. Yes, it does have live PTO, meaning, that the tractor Pto does not stop when you stop forward or rearward motion of the tractor. The select -o - junk transmissions have ahd nothing but problems in the past. When I have driven one, you want to back the tractor in the barn at night, because when you start it up in the morning and put it in reverse( with your foot on the clutch(hydraulic valve)) the tractor will travel forward. Then when you let out on the clutch(valve), the tractor will stall, unless you have tractor wide open, which is not good on your engine when it is cold. When the transmission warms up, It works a little better, but not much.
