I grew up at a time before the world was full of and run by idiots. I was taught there are places for bicycles and there are places for cars and they don't mix. You could ride a bicycle inside town on public streets but the cars always had the right of way. It was up to you to stay out of their way. Not anymore. Now cars never have the right of way. I see people riding bikes everywhere. Then you see people all the time crossing a street text messaging never looking to see if a car was coming or not. It's up to the driver to see them and stop.
Speaking of bicycles and speed, I saw not long ago a woman achieved the world speed record on a bicycle of 183 miles an hour. Talk about idiots.
