Only a few made in the early years of WW2 had mags on and at that time you had to get perbission from the goverment to even buy a tractor. And the ones that had a bag had no starter or lights and came out on steel wheels. By 1944 they were back to being able to produce a starter, generator and battery plus rubber tires. If you want to find a Ford engine with a mag look to an indrustrial engine as used on the very rare Dearborn pull type combine as you had to crank them as they came without a starter.
