Hi there
I'm new to these forums.
I have a 1970 mf 135 with the ag3 152 Perkins gas engine. And it was running horrible when it came to me and I did a tune up new plugs wires coil points condenser etc. seem to have a good spark now and also rebuilt the zenith carb although it was mostly gaskets and a new needle valve and seat. The float is fairly parallel when upside down in closed position so i think its adjust right. The main jet looked clean no obstructions anywhere I saw. Everything is back together and got it to idle sort of rough but dies as soon as you give it throttle. I'm also drained the tank and put a new sediment bowl and fresh gas in it. Still not running correct. Any ideas anyone? Seems like I got air spark and fuel, just not sure if I have the correct amount of fuel. Plugs look almost sotty like it's running rich but acts like it's starving for fuel please help
