I got up early Saturday and made the 210 mile drive to Goessel,Kansas for the tractor show...I made it there at 9:15 just before the huge parade on Main street..I hit rain at Bronson,KS and drove in a much needed rain for 100 miles..Its the first picture...There was a large crowd for the parade and it was unusually cool with people having blankets and jackets.....All the kids had their buckets ready to gather the candy that was thrown to them....Goessel badly needs a rain but earlier that morning it had built up just east of them....The weather was fantastic all day for the show....Some years its over 100 degrees...They did get a very welcome 1" of rain Saturday evening....
The next to the last picture is my neighbor Robert Boyle on his little John deere in the parade....I brought Robert to the 2014 show and he's been back ever since....His 2 brothers are riding on the back...They came 220 miles and absolutely love this show..Its a great show with much to see and lots of friendly people..I finally got to meet Brendon that posts on here...The 350 Farmall with the fast hitch disk is his....Next year they are featuring MM and I hope to take a tractor out there..I didnt put nearly enough pictures on here to do this show justice..
