Well since last Friday we have had 9-7/10"of rain here in South Central Illinois close to St. Louis Mo. My sump pump ran for an extended time yesterday causing it to blow or vibrate our back up sump pump off the "T" fitting. Clamp was tight so I put a small self tapper thru the fitting to hold it in along with the hose clamp. I was expecting to see a flood in the basement when I heard all that water gushing from that "T" fitting under pressure. I was relieved though.
