after reading r rlunds post about his gate vibrating ,. and everyone elses experience with such oddities,,. I present a discovery of my own , when using my 188 diesel 430s and530 Case's I have noticed that if I place the top link pins in from the left side,.. clutch side through to brakeside , if a hasp is not available ,, or will not accept a fastener because it is a raunchy piece of trash pin . the pin will most likely remain in place almost magnetized ,..however if it is installed the opposite from the right to left ,, the pin will very likely rattle vibrate out,. there are many exceptions of course ,,. and most times I do use a hairpin hasp or something on my top link pins , however if I find nuthin available , I have learned to go left to right with the pin ,... no doubt the cause is the harmonic vibration of all moving parts,,. particuly the engine .. has anyone else discovered this on other makes and models ??
