Check with whatever site you advertised and sold through, they may have limits like Ebay does. Ebay has protection I think they told me for 90 days, after that you're on your own. I became a member of theirs maybe a year ago when I made my first ever purchase, a matching pair Dana 60 front and Dana 80 rear for a 3/4 ton Dodge I'm building. I won the bid, paid the guy, he texted me right away that he'd be shipping them and as soon as he had, he'd give me the particulars. Months went by texting back and forth and with one excuse after another why I didn't receive the axles, and me leaving voice mails. Might have been a day shy of their limit that I didn't know about, and I contacted Ebay and they put me in touch with PayPal, their financial watch dog on everything purchased, PayPal or not. I gave PayPal my story and proof, they contacted the seller for his side of the story, PayPal found in my favor and acting as Ebay's insurance company so to speak, reimbursed me in full. What happened between them and that seller, I have no idea. Point though...they told me they had a time limit for such things, and I think it was 90 days. The whole thing put a bad taste in my mouth so it was my first and last purchase.
