Dealers ... My ford/NH dealer, where I had purchased several new items from , hired a parts guy that had a look on his face like someone had peed on his corn flakes. After a few run ins with him I found I could buy equipment from some where else. Our IH dealer became a CaseIH dealer and I dealt there for the last 35 years.Two years ago they dropped the CaseIH line , and went with their other line , Kubota . Nice folks good parts guys and sales and shop guys are good too.I have slowly gotten rid of my Ford/NH stuff, even though that parts guy is gone, just pizzed me off too much to go back. The JD dealer doesn't even know I am a farmer when I go into their store, and their are only 53 Dairy farms in our county. Deere dealer wants to sell 150- 300 hp tractors , Combines and huge tillage equipment. So I go ,like Randy , where I can deal with some one that will respect my needs and the size of my budget and farm. PS. I try to only buy new , whenever possible, so I am not just looking for obscure parts for some auction junk that I have picked up .
