Nice, Lizzie1955. Our first farm tractor was an all red Farmall Cub that my mother's sister gave us when they sold their country place in Pontiac, MI. Dad took a trailer up from Columbus, Oh where we were living at the time, in a suburban housing development. Having a farm tractor in the neighborhood sure stirred some talking. We eventually moved to a proper farm. My little brother was only 4 yrs. old and decided he could drive the tractor, so he climbed on, started it and took off down the road. Dad worked night shift and was up and saw him on the road next to our place. He took off after him in the truck, got him turned around and followed him back to the barn. We used it for plowing a small garden plot and mowing, but eventually it got used less and less and Dad sold it off before he eventually retired.
