LOU- I don't respond to your posts because you asked me not to. This post takes the cake and I have to speak my mind.

First- Henry Fields...You placed an order. It did not arrive when they said it should. You called and told them. They took care of the problem plus gave you 10 bucks off. Problem solved.

Dell Corp- I too, would expect a 'working' computer system when I purchased it NIB. They sent you a replacement which had problems too. I would be upset also. You did not say how you found out it was a bad 'sound switch'?

Anyway, your computer is now working properly and the repair sound switch costs $21.70. Dell sent you a check for $21.70. Problem solved.

So, was it worth the time "Days turned into weeks" plus the time filing the BBB complaint for $21.70? or was it just an ego trip?

I'm not trying to say $21.70 is not important but, was it worth all the time and stress you endured?

Penzoil Corp- Judge ruled against you. End of story. Problem solved. Why would you call him crooked...is it because he ruled against you?

General Motors- "new 69 GMC suburban". Lou, you do realize that was 46 years ago? Why bring that up?

"So far the 706 has no problems or our garden seed, which we plowed the garden last weekend." Seems to me that you are either looking for problems or hoping for them just for something to complain about....."I've done battle with all of them one time or another".

If I understand your post correctly, all complaints were satisfied/remedied.

Just like last year when you complained about a logger asking a few dollars more per cord of wood. You came on here moaning about it and most everyone said that his price was a fair price. You decided what he was doing was 'Highway Robbery" and chose to have you/your family cut and split their own wood from your property. I don't fault you in the least for your decision but I also don't fault the logger for his pricing.

Lou- getting yourself that stressed out over this stuff is not worth it, especially holding onto something that happened 46 years ago.

Today's Featured Article - Harvestin Hay: The Early Years (Part 2) - by Pat Browning. The summer of 1950 was the start of a new era in farming for our family. I was thirteen, and Kathy (my oldest sister) was seven. At this age, I believed tractor farming was the only way, hot stuff -- and given a chance I probably would have used the tractor, Dad's first, a 1936 Model "A" John Deere, to go bring in the cows! And I think Dad was ready for some automation too. And so it was that we acquired a good, used J. I. Case, wire tie hay baler. In addition to a person to drive th ... [Read Article]
