If your TV has the HDMI port, and your PC also has the HDMI port, then all you need is an HDMI cable. The HDMI port looks like a USB port, but is larger. There are other ways to connect a PC to a TV, but the HDMI works the best.
I purchased a factory refurbished Dell laptop specifically for use with the TV. The laptop sets right next to the TV, connected with the HDMI cable. A wireless mouse and wireless keyboard completes the system. I can set in the recliner and surf the 'net.
