My jobs takes me around the countryside and I am seeing more and more Sheriff stickers and seals in the windows of houses that used to be the homes of now jobless people, foreclosed on. More and more. As we as a nation close down factories, or should I say that as the EPA closes down factories in our nation that actually does manage pollution and ships the manufacturing overseas to place like China and India where they don'r even attempt to manage it, people lose their jobs. People find themselves, the employed ones, flipping burgers to sell to the hotdog boilers and boiling hotdogs to sell to the hamburger flippers, demanding $15 or better an hour to pay for automobiles, rent because we can't offord down payments on houses that we couldn't offord the mortgage on anyway, food, and healthcare insurance that went down by $2500 each person as we were told that it would. And those are the folks that lost their jobs that found minimum wage part time jobs to fill the void.

I'm on the back half of my life, and I'm sure glad that I'm not a new born that's going to grow up owing countle$$ buck$ for people looking out for my own good...before I even got my first job flipping burgers or boiling dogs to purchase that made in China iPhone 10 or 11.

And guess what? Being in the back half of my life, I could really care less. Why? Because we have done this to ourselves and are too stupid to learn our lessons, election after election. We did this to ourselves, we made our beds, we deserve to sleep in the beds that we have made for ourselves.

Today's Featured Article - New Life for an Old Allis - by Tyler Woods. My friend Jon, has an old '39 Allis Chalmers B. He thought it a marginal tractor that had long since served its time. She smoked terribly and never had much power but he couldn't afford another so he was limping along with what he had. Jon's Allis has a small front loader and though it doesn't carry much, it serves his needs. It was the hard starting and low power that made him think it was time to replace the old girl. Jon called me to help him discover why his tractor wouldn't start ... [Read Article]
