I hooked the spreader up to my newer team Saturday to see what they would do. Got a little spooky when I put it in gear. The spreader is in excellent original condition, but the chains were rusty from age (it has never sat outside) and the creaking and groaning bout sent them into orbit. It's funny, I can drive them down the road with cars and semi's coming right at them and they don't even take notice, but a little squeaking from behind and watch out!! LOL! I have the chains greased and it should be quieter next time. I would like to use it to spread manure with them. Other picture is the older team (actually younger in age) with a harrow trying to knock down some manure piles last year at this time. Bob
