U.P. Steam web-site lists departure and arrival times at the stops. Was on display at some places, and says public veiwing May 7th on arrival at Laramie from behind a fence. I presume the lengthy restoration will be done behind closed doors, so might be awhile before public can view this beast again. I hope U.P. posts some follow up pics or video's on the steam web-site. This is a really neat undertaking and one that I personally thought they would do at some point. Glad to see it in the happenen. Looking foreward to seeing it restored and under its own steam traveling about. I fortunately live close to a U.P. main line, and one that they travel the steamers on from time to time. Makes it nice to not have to travel to see them operate. Can't imagine the time it will take to restore something that big. That would make an antique tractor restoration seem like a changing oil project, just to keep this tractor related.
