The rate of real roundup for Southern Il. is 22 oz. If using generic 32 oz. or one quart. I use a quart and a half. Or one quart of real Round-up. To see how much water you are spraying. Pick a pressure 20 to 30 psi. drive one mile down a road or a field road spraying at the speed you want to go. After you have went 1 mile check how much water you have used. then take your boom with times 5280 ft Say your boom is 20 ft X 5280 distance you have went. 105600 sq ft.divided by 43560 sq ft in a acre. 2.24 acres. Maybe you have used one half of your 55 gal.(about right) 27.5 gal on 2.24 acres. Divide 2.24 into 27.5 = 12.27 gal per acre. So your 55 gal tank. Better just call it 50 gal. (can't get it all out or get it plum full) So you can spray 4 acres. So put 1 gallon of Round-up in and go. I would start with BLUE flat fan tips, 15 inch centers. And 25 psi. 6 mph. Should be about right. Vic

Jon's Allis has a small front loader and though it doesn't carry much, it serves his needs. It was the hard starting and low power that made him think it was time to replace the old girl. Jon called me to help him discover why his tractor wouldn't start
