Look at the images for this product. cody gooseneck cushion. The way it is constructed would be able to be copied in a way that (if put on with the pivot forward) would allow the ball to pivot up and forward when the platform was tipped. I thing a solid link in place of the airbag, would allow two positions one with a pin through holes to keep it solid, and the other to allow it to move up to a 45* angle. This would prevent bending on the ball, and also maintain position with the truck. I am giving my advanced Cad class this challenge tomorrow on the first day of class. They will have two groups. one to work out the design of the pivot ball, and the other to tweak a design idea for a moving coupler as the gooseneck pivots as the bed tilts. (using a steering linkage rod from OTR trucks) Ideas are rampant. Jim
