I sold and serviced them for 12 years. If you are going to hook it up and cut the dog loose don't waste your time! On the other hand if you are willing to properly train the dog and maintain the system it will likely work for you. I had 1250 customers when I sold the business and only had a hand full that could not be contained. (mostly Husky or Husky crosses)There are some dogs that have higher thresholds of pain but there are also products to work with that. If you have a large breed of dog just go right to the Stubborn dog collar (Pet Safe/Radio Systems) with the 9 volt battery. On the high setting you check this one with a screwdriver (good 1/2 inch blue spark!)There is also different settings for the dogs that like to figure things out! That being said, Training,Training, Training!!!! you actualy condition the dog to not want to cross the line. I serviced many customers who said "my dog will go right through it if he sees something he wants" I always offered a money back guarantee if they were willing to train! Almost always worked! (Huskies are TOUGH dogs and I have the stories to prove it!) hope this helps with your decision. Good Luck, Andy

Jon's Allis has a small front loader and though it doesn't carry much, it serves his needs. It was the hard starting and low power that made him think it was time to replace the old girl. Jon called me to help him discover why his tractor wouldn't start
