When I retired I sold my herd to a neighbor. Thought I was out of the farmin/beef raising business. Things changed beyond my control and I wound up back in it. But that's OK-fine. Never had registered stock for several reasons, but had some premium stock, mostly Brangus (3/8 Braman, 5/8 Angus). Course with line breeding and free range grazing sometimes the percentages changed.
Just happened to sell my herd to a friendly neighbor and when it was decided that I was going to get back in and needed adequate breeding stock, I went to this neighbor.
Called him like 8 pm one night asking if he had a yearling bull I could buy. He said as a matter of fact he had one 7 month old he was going to do the "no longer a boy thing" to him the next morning.
I bought him. So the pic is his 3rd anniversary. Good gentile boy and throws some nice calves.
