Check the diameter of the hole where the top link is supposed to connect to the tractor. If it's 3/4" diameter, then that end is Category 1. If it's 1" diameter,it's Category 2. If it's 1 1/4" diameter, Category 3. You can determine if the other end is the same category. MIght be, might not, you can get spacers to reduce the diameter if you have the Cat. 3 and need Cat. 2. Length, there are different lengths. You just check what you need to have. IF you want an official Massey top link, you can Google or Bing "MF Top Link" and there'll be pictures of the official ones. Some of them are sorta ... not to say odd, but different. No, I'll go back; they are odd. But anything will work.
