Your tractor will not sell for much if the steering does not work right. The drag links should be an easy fix. If something that simple is off buyers will wonder what else has been neglected.
Do you know how did the drag links get that far off? Are the links bent or just stuck. If someone adjusted the front wheel spacing without adjusting the drag links, can you re-adjust the front wheel spacing back where they were to line back up with the drag links?
As many others have already said: fix the steering, and leave the engine alone. Maybe change the engine oil if it is very dirty, wash the dirt off the tractor and air up the tires.
