Had them for years now. Couldn't do without it. It's too loud in the shop to talk on a phone so it allows me to keep in touch with the kids, my wife, and my mother who isnt in the greatest of health these days. Almost everyone at work has one so its alot easier to send a pic of what is needed or dimensions instead of walking all over the shop. They're not for everyone that's for sure and do your research before getting one. I have a Samsung galaxy note 2 its big not as big as a tablet but its big and has a stylus which I like. It's really nice to take a picture add dimensions on the picture then send it. Saves a ton of time. There's tons of free apps on the Android Market that will do about anything. I do everthing from view cnc programs to tune my banjo with it. It has an excellent camera 8mp. You can video chat on it (I've used it twice to video chat with a heating cooling tech to fix heat pumps which saved me more than the price of the phone if I would have called a tech to come out). I love mine but they are not for everyone. It's hard to get use to using a touch screen phone but I use swype to type with (you drag your finger over the keypad spelling the word it will connect the letters with a blue line then find the word you are typing). The best thing to do would be find someone thats a little tech savy to talk to and show you some stuff on it. Good luck!
