I am on the do not call list, but I still get more scam calls than I do from relatives and friends. Darned computer generated calls come from all over. I have looked up many of the area codes, they come from all over the country,and they are not correct. Just try to dial one of those numbers and you get a recording. I don't generally use strong language on the phone but here lately I push the button to talk to someone and then let them have it with both barrels. I don't even have a credit card, and I get two or three calls a day telling me they can lower my interest rate.
