Bad idea on most trucks.Plumber strap is weak because of all the holes.A full tank can weigh 160 lb.My 77 Chev tank sat on strong L brackets.The straps just kept the tank on the brackets,didnt carry weight.Why cant auto makers be forced to use rust proof tank straps and brake lines on a 40,000 buck truck.
