The cummins B series has a flywheel housing on the back of the engine (not to be confused with the bellhousing) that is removable, and you can get them with different SAE bellhousing patterns, ford, chevy, dodge, and some other oddballs. Lots of different flywheels available as well. I would keep the Allison if at all possible, a stock gasser trans will not live long behind the 6BT, and the factory autos were not all that hot either.
