They are out there. My local shop has one, but it is not in his display case and he is not advertising it locally. I looked at it yesterday, and liked the looks and feel. For one thing, they didn't feel the need to write the standard Ruger warning about reading the owners manual all over the side of the gun. It is there, but on the bottom. It's a two-tone deal, which I normally wouldn't like but it looked good, and I will buy one when supply catches up w/ demand.
The local guy will sell his on gunbroker for a couple hundred more than he would sell it to me for, and I have no problem with that at all. I didn't ask how many he gets in, but he told me a similar story a couple of months ago, although at that point he did not have one in stock, as he had sold it prior to me asking. So, he does get them and move them through but I don't know how often.
