In this area, many, if not most of the growers had a spacer made up that fit between the front axle adjusting brackets and extended the wheelbase 6". This same spacer was made to give an additional offset to widen out the track to 64" or 68" centers. (Of course this necessitated spacers at the rear axle to match up with the fronts)
