I have osteo arthritis in my back. I had a hard time getting out of the car after driving, walked with a stoop and it hurt to stand up straight. I tried the honey and cinnamon in hot water to no avail. I had almost given up going to auctions because I couldn't stand up very long without lots of pain. I went to a local consignment auction Oct 1 and a older guy stopped me( I didn't know him from Adam) and said you have arthritis in your back, don't you. I said yes I do. He said he could tell by the way I walked. He said to get some raisins, cover the bottom of a cereal bowl with them and put enough rum in the bowl to cover them and let them soak until them plump back up and then eat a few everytime you walk past the bowl. I got the cheapest bottle of rum I could get at the grocery store, we already had the raisins and let them soak for 4 days and then started eating them. I didn't pay much attention until about a week later my wife told me I was standing up straighter at 5:30pm than I had for a long time. It's been a month now, I can stand up straighter than I used to. I can get out of the car much easier now. I went to a plow day today and took a lawn chair with me because I would have to set after standing for a little while before. I stood and walked around for a couple of hours before lunch and never took the chair out of the pickup. At church, I was always the last one to make it to my feet when we had to stand up. The last couple of weeks, I noticed I'm one of the first ones up. I'm not a drinker, raisins taste terrible, about takes my breath away to eat them, but I haven't felt this good in YEARS!!!! All you guys with no pain make all the jokes you want, I've heard most all of them at work, BUT any of you with arthritis, TRY THIS!! BTW golden raisins will swell up more than regular rasins. The golden one will almost turn back into a grape when soaked 5 to 7 days. For less than $10 you can feel much better. Yes, I still have some pain, I am not cured, don't clain to be, but I am a heck of a lot better than I was. I even quit taking tylenol for pain this week. This works for me, hope it works for you. Chris

Today's Featured Article - Tractor Hydraulics - The Basics - by Curtis Von Fange. Hydraulics was one of the greatest inventions for helping man compound the work he can do. It’s amazing how a little floor jack can lift tons and tons of weight with just the flick of a handle. What’s even more amazing is that all the principals of hydraulic theory can be wrapped up in such a small package. This same package applies to any hydraulic system from the largest bulldozer to the oldest and smallest tractor. This short series will take a look at the basic layout of a simple hydraul
