The CCA doesn't always mean much. As a general rule, the weight of the battery tells you more.
It's easy to take a battery and up the CCAs while lowering the amp-hour rate. So you can have two same size batteries. One will give a lot of amps for a short period of time, while the other will give a big less amps but do it a lot longer.
It is simply "robbing Peter to pay Paul."
Of course there are better batteries that have more amps and reserve - but they usually come in a bigger box. Check all the specs and NOT just the cold-cranking-amps. Reserve Capacity(also known as RC or amp-hour rate) is also very important
