How? You raise the bow at 45 degree angle, draw it back with a trigger release, just touch the release button by accident and off it goes. Perfect angle for max flight and it the bow is 70 draw weight before breakover...it'll fly. I don't draw my bow that way. I hold it straight out and pull straight back but then I'm not pulling 60-80 pounds. If I pulled that much,I'd raise it also. This is an accident, plain and simple. Give him his arrow back and get on with being a good neighbor.
