Sounds like a ripoff.A good radiator shop has books on cores ,so all that has to be done is for them to measure the size core, count water passages, then place an order from the one who has it. Re-solder the tanks, pressurize it, and then it's good to go. I've had several done that way. Just like as new radiator. They will even flat black(paint) it with the correct paint . Not the run of the mill flat black fro the hardware's shake and rattle selection. PHIL
