I have been working on my old D17 this spring and after a tune up and oil change, New seal in the final drive and a good used set of rear tires and clean and paint the rims. Put a new seat on (it needed it 2 years ago) new tempature gauge and light switch and 5 gal of 90w for the rear end and she was ready to go! Or so I thought! Got 10 feet out of the barn and it died! Had to go get a new coil. Now we were ready ro go. Hooked up the bush hog and cut about 3 acres around the back barn. Wish I could have baled it, It was has high as the hood and thick. First gear and wide open to cut this mess. Got done when my wife showed up she got out of the truck and started laughing! I said what so funny? Your tractor look like a big bug sticking its toung out! I took it kinda personal! It dose not! How could you say that about this old girl. Well it dose! She left and as I was about to put her up my dad says you know it dose look like a big bug sticking it toung out and started to laugh. Whats a guy to do! Bandit
