I sprayed a portion of my yard (poor stand of bermuda) about 4 weeks ago with Glyphosphate. I then plugged some Zoysia in my yard about 3 and 1/2 weeks ago. The plugs are alive and look good but they really seem not to be doing anything. Most of what I read says they will connect in one to two growing seasons. If they dont hurry they are not going to make it.
I decided that plugging was for the birds. I borrowed a sod cutter and laid two 40 yard pallets in stips of sod which made the process much faster but this process usesed a great deal more sod.
Anyone have any thoughts?
I broadcasted the suggested dose of N,P and K last week. I just purchased some MSMA to rid myself of my Dallisgrass and Goosegrass. I read that keeping it weed free is the key to faster spread.
