H M Kill Switch Location

I am needing to know where the kill (on/off) switch goes on both my H and M tractor. Neither had the proper switch nor do I think they were in the right places. I have seen them in many different ones at shows as well. Does it matter as far as being a coil or mag tractor? Do they go on the hyd. control rod bracket or do they go in one of the holes of the bracket that also houses the radiator shutter control, belt pulley control and choke rod? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
