Hello guys.
I'm trying to identify a few parts on the tractor that the IH-201 manual, ownersmanual and internet so far have just turned up nada on. I appreciate any insights.
The pictures may not be in order. sorry.
1. back of the tractor - small bar and clip looking peice. i have no clue what these are for or why they're here. frankly the bar looks like some crap conduit that was slapped on for ? reasons. the clip looks like it might belong though?
2. pic with the oil filter in it. two parts - 1, what is the part sticking up just behind the oil filter housing 2. why would that hose be sticking out of the head right there and should it be hooked to something?
3. Right tire pic (while sitting in seat) why would someone weld that riser in and put a plate on the top like that? i just wanna nip that thing off there cause frankly i'm going to prolly end up getting caught on it eventually.
Last - and no picture - the 3pt hitch upper link has a hydraulic ram going down inside the body of the tractor - i assume thats just to dynamically level the 3pt hardware off without having to twist the link?

At one time I had seven restored examples which were shown and used in ploughing matches. As most restorers, I have a number of war stories I can relate on a range of topics that may help other like minded and interested people. Perhaps my first p
