Yes, looking at parts book the Hydro 84 appears to have same PTO setup as 684/784. My brother had a 1000 RPM PTO installed in his 495. It took CasIH mechanic about 1 hour to do the job.
From archives: Installing 1000 RPM PTO: Hi TWafer and JB2, you have to buy the 1000 rpm PTO shaft, the cover with a hole and a seal. Remove the shaft, by removing the spring pin that holds it in the PTO clutch pack, and the rear cover. Place the 1000 rpm PTO shaft in place, secure with the spring pin and bolt the cover. That's it. Hi TWafer, yes, you remove the pin by the right round cover. Hold the clutch pack when you pull on the shaft. Make sure to align carefully the shaft with the clutch pack before you press the spring pin. Bernard le mécano Québec Canada
