I guess the differential was on the verge of seizing up when I parked it 2 years ago. It was working at that time or I wouldn"t have been able to turn into the shed. I figure water must run down the shifter right into the spider assembly although the shifter and rails aren"t rusty just gunked up. Take a look at the pictures, there was a pile of rust between the ends of the brake shafts. I sucked out the rust and soaked it down with penetrating fluid but it won"t free up. I have two questions, is 75 dollars a good price for a used differential? and is it possible to remove the trans cover without taking off the hydraulic/steering support and the seat/battery box? Ooops, I was wrong, one more question, where can I get a gasket for the cover? Thanks
