i just use a lady's slipper bar and just pry up the sticky ones. most time they just come out by hand. this proves that the seal rings and dust rings are doing their job.but if you have compression leaking then that carbon can really make them stick. for the precups there is a puller but thats an ih item and didnt have to use one yet. you could squirt some gunk carb cleaner in the bore and that will loosen them also as it dissolves the carbon.
