I recently purchased a 1947 Farmall H. An uninstalled loader (which I had to trailer home separately) came with the deal. The guy I bought it from said the loader was a Model 30 or Model 31 Loader. I have seen Farmall Implement Operator Manuals listed on the internet for a "Power Loader" Model 30, Model 31, and Model 33A. Based on an emailed picture from a gent, I know that I do NOT have a Model 33. How can I tell the difference between the 30 and 31? Also, how do I really know if I have a "Farmall Power Loader"??? I want to purchase an implement operator manual for this loader -- if nothing else, so that I install it correctly! Although not perfect for snow, I want to install this loader onto my H before the Connecticut snow flies. I want to hook it up to my H, but not sure exactly how. A lot of it is obvious. But, I know I am missing some of the mounting brackets. Figure an implement operator manual would tell me. But, need to know which model, so I can order the correct manual. Please go to the link below to see the images of my loader:
