After buying and fixing up my 300u, here are the key factors affecting conditions/price: 1. Hydraulics: Are all three valves working, handles tight, 3 pt works correctly, high pump pressure, etc. 2. TA works, no slipping under load. 3. Live pto under heavy bush hog load does not slip, will stall engine 4. Power steering works, no wobble going down the road in 5th gear, 5. Each cylinder has good compression & oil pressure 6. Rims/tires are in great shape and loaded 7. All cosmetic items work, lights, radiator, seat, etc.
