Hi, simple thing first, leaking return line, this is a common problem, the part is still available from caseih. Make sure return line back to fuel tank is not blocked.
Raw Diesel leaking from exhaust port on cylinder 1 & 4, this is called Diesel slobbering, caused by few reasons, engine is not up to temp, engine idling too much and over fueling. If you look at the photo that I borrowed off the web, you see the label "Fuel control lever" and there is an adjustment screw that limits the the fuel control lever. This adjustment screw is called the power screw and the more that it is screw out allowing the fuel control lever to open more, the more HP the the engine produces up to a max of about 70 HP when the fuel control lever limits on the power screw mounting bracket.
What may have happened is some previous owner may have opened the power screw to the max over fueling the engine.
Another method to reduce slobbering if engine is just idling around is don't pull the STOP/START/RUN lever all the way to the top of the RUN position. This has the effect of not opening the fuel control level on the pump all the way and therefore injecting less Diesel into to the cylinder.
BTW most Diesel engines like to be worked hard and the slobbering will disappear.
As for the other leaks in the pump DieselTech is the expert.
