I will finish my restoration on my grandfathers farmall H in april. I still have to do tires and tin work but I am confused on the paint. It is a 1950 farmall H and I understand that that paint is not available. So there is IH 50 and IH 2150. I am going to have it professionaly painted with automotive paint and would like your opinion on what paint looks better. With all the discussion on the internet I am not sure what way to go. Also the paint codes with dupont or ppg sometimes have extra letters. What do these mean? Are they variances in the paint color. do I need them? I really appreciate all your help on this. I just don"t want to make a mistake at this pint in the game. I need to have this done before my wedding in June.
