I've given up on those battery boxes. The one's available seemed to be overpriced, even some of the ratty one's you see on ebay. Now to me, I feel like battery boxes are a bit too confining. They're all potential rust pits. Such is the case on all the used ones I've seen.
I'm going to try to make my own consisting of a flat tray and angle iron frame. A swing out eye bolt with wingnut at each end to hold down the top angle iron frame will work out just fine. Less confining, less to replace if need be. Not OEM, but I'm not that hardcore. To me, there is nothing wrong with a battery in full view. Kinda adds a little splash to all that red. Good luck finding that box.
