Hi! I need some help. I am looking at a locked '50 farmall c. I think it is locked in the cylinders, the guy still has the trailer he backed in hooked to it and there is gas in the fuel bowl. Anyway, the guy told me I can buy it if I can get the gear that drives the distrubiter and hydraulic pump on his super C he wants to keep. ( he wants to keep the 2-pt.) know what gear i'm talking about ? know where to get one ? how much would it cost ? I looked at the walt's link in one of the other questions and they listed a dist. drive shaft. does it come with the gear I need? the guy told me the gear went bad beacause the bearing went bad and fell into the gear and broke it. Is this a common problem with farmall C's and super C's ? thanks for the help !
